However, like all utilities, we are susceptible to outages caused by bad weather, animals, equipment issues and more. This blog is designed to provide updates on what caused outages after service has been restored. Large-scale incidents will be posted in real-time on the City's Alert Center on our website homepage. [ARCHIVED] New Location Announced For Geneva Shakespeare In The Park

Enjoy a night of comedy and culture with Shakespeare In The Park, which will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at a new location, Sunset Park, 710 Western Ave.

This free, family-friendly event features Goodly Creatures Theatre performing "Twelfth Night," a story of love and mistaken identity. Seating begins at 4 p.m. and patrons can bring chairs, blankets and a picnic or purchase food and water from local vendors. The performance starts at 6 p.m. and runs about 90 minutes without an intermission.

The Republic of Letters will host a story time at 5 p.m. for children read by local children's author, Leo Zarko. The event also features contests with prizes at 5:30 p.m. for the most elaborate picnic and for the person who traveled the greatest distance to attend the play.

Parking is available at the Sunset Community Center, which shares the same address as the park.
