The Geneva Public Works Department responded to a Sept. 12 power outage in the downtown.
The service disruption occurred at 8:18 a.m. due to equipment failure near the Union Pacific-West railway tracks. About 590 customers lost service for 20 minutes before Geneva Public Works was able to close the circuit breaker.
