However, like all utilities, we are susceptible to outages caused by bad weather, animals, equipment issues and more. This blog is designed to provide updates on what caused outages after service has been restored. Large-scale incidents will be posted in real-time on the City's Alert Center on our website homepage. Customers can subscribe to receive these updates via Notify Me.

Have you heard the java new business news brewing on State Street in Geneva? Viva Cafe is officially open! You can catch a sneak peek on our YouTube channel.

This summer pop-up collaboration between Five & Hoek Coffee, Bien Trucha, and Rancilio Group North America is brewing something extra special for our community—and it is all happening at 416 W. State St.

Viva Cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday to Sunday. Stop in for creative summer sips like:

  • Horchata Latte
  • Coconut Cookie Latte
  • My My My Key Lime Pie Latte
  • Tonic De Jamaica
  • Creamsicle Latte

Or stick with the classics—your call, coffee lovers.

Plus, do not miss their freshly baked pastries like the guava empanadas and Bien Trucha food offerings while they last!
