Sixty-eight Geneva customers in the Randall Square subdivision lost power early Nov. 10.

The outage occurred due to an underground cable fault at 1:30 a.m. The service disruption impacted customers on Shoop Drive, Herrington Road, Danford Way, Miller Road, Blackman Road, and Chatham Court.

Geneva Public Works crews isolated the faulted cable and restored power from alternate feeds by 3:33 a.m.

For power outages occurring after-hours, weekends and holidays, call the Geneva Police Department non-emergency number at 630-232-4736. Police will then dispatch the on-call Public Works personnel.

The City's SeeClickFix online portal and social media channels are not monitored outside the City's normal business hours. The Public Works Department is open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
