An electric line was hit at 10:53 a.m. July 23 knocking out power for 58 customers in the Chesapeake Commons townhome subdivision on Geneva's east side.

The outage impacted residents in the 1300 block of Windsor, 1400 block of Charleston, 1500-1600 blocks of Delaware, and the 1500-1600 blocks of Washington courts. Public Works crews isolated the damage and re-energized the line.

Power was restored to all customers by 12:20 p.m.
