The City of Geneva has been working on a water main infrastructure project along the Route 25 corridor (North Bennett Street) since October 2023. The primary project involves installing a new water main on the state highway from State (Route 38) to Jefferson streets. As a reminder, businesses along State Street and Route 25 remain open to local traffic. See the City's local business access map.
Dec. 29 Update
The City determined this week that lead line water services on Route 25 should be replaced to take advantage of the existing road closure. The additional project scope will push the anticipated completion date to mid-January, weather permitting.
