The Geneva Public Works Department responded to a power outage Nov. 7 on the west side of Geneva.
Seven customers lost service at 10:45 a.m. due to a squirrel contacting an electric line that impacted homes surrounded by Grant Avenue, Peyton, Charles, Ford and streets.
The Public Works Electric Division refused the cutout to restore power by 11:55 a.m.
