A squirrel made contact with an electric line triggering a small power outage Nov. 9 on Sixth Street.
The incident occurred at 7:07 a.m. and caused 13 customers to lose service on Sixth Street from Franklin to Fulton streets.
The Geneva Public Works Department Electric Division refused the damaged cutout, a combination of a fuse and a switch used in overhead power lines. Service to all customers was restored by 8:10 a.m.
