[ARCHIVED] Geneva Flag Lowered In Memory Of Julie Schreiner

City Hall Flag Lowered

The Geneva Flag at City Hall has been lowered to half-staff June 4 in memory of Julie (Bricher) Schreiner, 52, who passed away April 26.

Born in 1965, Mrs. Schreiner was the fourth of eight children of Tom and Karen Bricher. She grew up on the family farm in Geneva and was a 1983 graduate of Geneva Community High School. She later married and became a self-made interior designer and decorator.

The Bricher Farm was the land bordered on the south by Williamsburg Avenue and on the north by Bricher Road.

Her obituary can be found online. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked if donations in Mrs. Schreiner's memory could be made to the Geneva Beautification Committee, City of Geneva, 22 S. First St.

The City offers its condolences to the Bricher and Schreiner families for their loss.
