Bridge repair work is scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 9 on Kirk Road south of State Street (Route 38) in Geneva, according to the Kane County Division of Transportation.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Cherry Lane and State Street to patch portions of the concrete bridge deck over the Union Pacific railroad tracks. The project is anticipated to last eight weeks, weather permitting.
