[ARCHIVED] September Brings Brand New Lineup To Geneva Broadcast Network

Tune in to Geneva Broadcast Network for a new slate of shows, including the addition of Geneva High School sports.

Catch the Vikings home football opener against Richards High School from Sept. 5 starting at 4 p.m. (and 4 a.m. for you early birds) all this week. The week of Sept. 15, we plan on bringing you girls volleyball action in that same time slot.

Also, September brings new episodes of GBN’s traditional programming:

Business Beat (10:30 a.m. & 10:30 p.m.) – Mayor Kevin Burns takes you on a trip to Aurelio’s Pizza on State Street. See what are the ingredients to the Aurelio’s success and what makes them a Geneva hotspot. Also, we take you behind the scenes into the kitchen to see how the Mayor fares at making pizza.

Officially Speaking (10 a.m. & 10 p.m.) – We sit down with Fifth Ward Alderman Craig Maladra to get his perspective on Geneva being named a safe community, home rule and other hot button issues that are facing the City Council.

Geneva Works (6:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.) – Commander Eric Passarelli shares insight on the Police Department, how residents can protect themselves from being a victim of a crime and some important Halloween safety tips.

Geneva Broadcast Network airs on Ch. 10 on Comcast and Ch. 99 on AT&T U-Verse. Residents can watch live City Council meetings at 7 p.m. every Monday night along with replays during the week. GBN also streams live on the City’s website, and people can watch our programming On Demand.
