[ARCHIVED] Kane County To Perform Patching Work On Fabyan Parkway

Pavement patching on various Kane County roads, including a section of Fabyan Parkway, is scheduled to occur starting the week of Sept. 29.

The road work will take place on Fabyan Parkway 200 feet west of Route 31 to 550 feet west of Route 31. Improvements will include the removal and replacement of 1.5 inches of distressed pavement surfaces in various sections of the roadway.

Work is scheduled to be completed by the week of Oct. 20, according to Kane County.

While all roadways will remain open during construction, temporary daily lane closures will be required to allow crews safe access to the work areas. The public is advised to pay attention to new traffic patterns, exercise caution and allow additional travel times while driving through work zones.

Questions or concerns may be directed to John Guddendorf, Kane County Division of Transportation, at 630-816-9671. For other Kane County traffic advisories, see the link below.
