[ARCHIVED] Residents Can Dispose Of Leaves Through City's Yard Waste Bag Program In December

The City’s vacuum fall leaf collection program has concluded for the season, but residents can still use yard waste bags to dispose of any leaves remaining in their yard in December.

Residents must place the leaves in paper yard waste bags and place them out for collection on their scheduled refuse collection day. The waste hauler will collect the bags weekly until Dec. 27.

Please note refuse stickers are not required on these yard waste bags from Dec. 1 to Dec. 27. However, only leaves must be placed in the bags. No grass or other yard waste can be mixed with the leaves.

For more information, please call the Geneva Public Works Department at 630-232-1502.
