Welcome to the annual Geneva Arts Fair. For more than 20 years, the juried Geneva Arts Fair has risen in attendance and notoriety.
The festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28, showcases fine artisans from around the country in a host of mediums. Patrons can purchase original works of art and have the unique opportunity to meet exhibiting artists, learn the sources of their inspirations, and ask questions about techniques.
Downtown Third Street in Geneva serves as a picturesque backdrop for the outdoor fine arts show that has been voted tops by Best Art Fairs by Art Fair Calendar.
Once again, the expertise and products of Plandscape Inc. will transform the intersection of South Third and Franklin streets into the arts garden, a comforting, breathtaking display of foliage and color. Acoustic music will fill the air from noon to 2 p.m. Patrons can stop by the Information Booth with their questions about the Arts Fair, upcoming festivals or visiting Geneva. This prestigious show includes free art activities for children of all ages.
If you have never visited Geneva, now is your chance to see a picture-postcard town, overflowing with comfort and charm on a beautiful summer day. Tucked away amidst the gorgeous Fox River Valley, downtown Geneva boasts more than 100 specialty shops and restaurants, many located in historic storefronts and beautiful Victorian-style homes.
The Geneva Arts Fair is sponsored by Harvey’s Tales Bookshop.
Located just 40 miles west of Chicago, the show is easily accessible via the Union Pacific Metra West Line or the interstate.
