Geneva was recently ranked as one of the 10 must-visit small towns in Illinois by MSN.
MSN highlighted Geneva as being a "scenic town" situated along the Fox River. The website's article pointed out one of the more popular attractions is the Fabyan Villa and Japanese Gardens, which is a Frank Lloyd Wright home listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
"However, (the Fabyan Villa) is not the only impressive sight in Geneva. Historic downtown Geneva has boutiques, wineries, breweries, and restaurants for visitors of all delectations," the article noted. "The beautiful trails and parks provide outdoor activities, while the arts and culture scene accommodates indoor interests."
While Chicago and other large Illinois cities are well-known, MSN wrote the state's true charm is captured by the scenic views of small communities, such as Geneva.
