Geneva City offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29 for Thanksgiving.
Normal business hours will resume on Monday, Dec. 2.
Garbage collection during the week of Nov. 25 will be pushed back one day later than normal due to the holiday. The end of November also marks the last opportunity residents can dispose of yard waste for the 2024 calendar year. Yard waste bags, which should be affixed with waste stickers, can be set out with the garbage.
For those homes still awaiting their third/final curbside leaf pickup, crews will not be working on Nov. 28. Operations will start back up Nov. 29. As a reminder, residents should not park cars in front of their leaf piles so the contractor can work efficiently in your neighborhood.
