Want to make a difference in your community but not sure where to start? The City of Geneva is looking for dedicated volunteers to fill vacancies on its Strategic Plan Advisory Committee.
The Strategic Plan Advisory Committee is is tasked with prioritizing community goals outlined in the City’s strategic plan, encouraging citizen input and assisting with goal implementation. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
Residents interested in serving on this advisory board submit an application online and attach a letter of interest. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20.
Candidates must be residents living within the City's corporate boundary limits (see the City's Ward Map).
Applications will be reviewed by Mayor Kevin Burns and nominations will be brought forward to the City Council for approval.
