Geneva residents headed to the polls to cast their ballots for several open seats on the Geneva City Council during the April 1 consolidated election.
The Kane County Clerk’s Office officially certified the election results. The winners for Mayor and Geneva City Council seats were:

All offices carry a four-year term unless otherwise noted. No candidates filed to run for City Treasurer.
The newly elected officials are scheduled to take their seats during the Monday, May 5 City Council meeting.
The City would like to extend its thanks to outgoing Alderpersons Mike Bruno (Ward 1), Becky Hruby (Ward 3), and Robert Swanson (Ward 5) for their dedicated service to the community. They will be recognized for their contributions during their final meeting Monday, April 28.
