Kane County announced it will be installing recessed reflective pavement markers on more than 130 miles of county highway beginning the week of April 14.

The lone Geneva project location is on the Keslinger Road from Randall Road west to the county line.

The work will commence on the north side of the County and continue toward the south until all work is complete. Temporary daily lane closures will be required from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday to safely accomplish this work. Flaggers will route drivers around the installation crews to safely accomplish the required work.

Recessed reflective pavement markers aid in providing visibility of the lane lines for the motoring public. The majority of the work is anticipated to be completed by the end of June, weather dependent. A few locations will be completed in the fall.
