The City of Geneva Development Projects Map has been updated. The applicant for the 4 E. State St. Historic Landmark Demolition project has filed an appeal of the Historic Preservation Commission's Dec. 16 denial of the request.

A special City Council meeting has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, where both the applicant and the Historic Preservation Commission have the right to be heard. A reversal or modification of the commission’s determination requires not less than two-thirds of the alderpersons holding office.
