[ARCHIVED] 25N Coworking Wins Mayor's Choice Award For Business And Real Estate Development

25N Coworking has been recognized with the fourth annual Mayor’s Choice Award for significant contributions in business and real estate development after transforming a former bank into a community office space for working professionals in downtown Geneva.

Mayor Kevin Burns presented the award to 25N Coworking Founder and CEO Mara Hauser Nov. 4 at the City’s annual Merchant Holiday Kickoff Breakfast at The Herrington Inn & Spa.

“Mara’s energy, creativity and love of community is reflected in every aspect of 25N Coworking,” Mayor Burns said. “What was once a tired corner of our central business district is now a hub of activity that benefits all of Geneva.”

Revitalizing the former bank building at the corner of Third and Hamilton streets, 25N Coworking opened this winter to provide a professional work environment for virtual employees, freelancers and entrepreneurs. The business offers flexible work space including community options, private offices and meeting rooms for its members and daily fee users.

Not often seen outside of major urban cities, 25N Coworking has created a community designed to spark business collaboration and creativity as well as help drive economic development and foot traffic to Geneva. The staff also provides business advisory services, classes and programs to its members.

25N Coworking was featured this summer on Geneva Broadcast Network’s “Business Beat” television show (past episodes can be viewed on the City’s YouTube Channel) and is planning to again host a portion of Geneva Film Festival next year.

The breakfast was organized by Geneva’s Economic Development Department. For more information about the City’s business outreach, click the link below.
