Love the flowers in downtown Geneva? The Beautification Committee always can use an extra set of helping hands for its summer planting scheduled for Saturday, May 14.

New volunteers can meet at 8 a.m. on the scheduled planting day at the Geneva Post Office, 26 S. Third St. Those pre-assigned to gardens can go directly to their area.

In case of a thunderstorm (event will still take place as scheduled if just raining), the planting will take place the following day at 12:30 p.m.
