[ARCHIVED] Geneva's Gardenology Offers Pointers To Local Green Thumbs

People are invited to dig deep with their gardening questions and learn tips from experts on how to create a successful home plot at Geneva’s Gardenology in May.

The sixth annual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17 along Third Street in downtown Geneva. A speaker's tent will be located at the Geneva Lutheran Church, 301 S. Third St. More than 50 garden experts will be on hand giving presentations or answering questions to help patrons get the most out of their gardening season. Topics will range from home gardening tips, how to grow a crystal garden, making salad dressings and more.

Plants and accessories will be available for purchase, and many shops will be offering fun and educational activities for kids. Children also will enjoy the Birds of Prey – Live Raptors exhibit and an appearance by The Frog Lady.

Gardenology, which will be held rain or shine, is free and open to the public. For more information, including a speaker schedule, visit the event website (link below) or call Country Naturals at 630-232-1172.
