You may have seen crews planting trees this week on various parkways throughout Geneva. This was part of the City’s spring tree planting program.
Normally the plantings take place during April to coincide with Arbor Day, but had to be pushed back into May with the late arrival of spring weather.
Geneva, which is a proud Tree City USA municipality, will have about 200 new trees planted by the end of month, many of which were ordered by residents as part of the City’s parkway tree replacement program.
While the spring order deadline has passed, residents interested in replacing their parkway tree can view possible tree selections on our website and submit an order by Friday, June 13 for a fall planting. For more information, see the link below.
