[ARCHIVED] City Offices To Be Closed Sept. 1 For Labor Day; Holiday Will Push Back Garbage Collection One Day

Geneva City Hall and other City offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Garbage collection the week of Sept. 1 will take place one day later than usual (Friday & Saturday) due to the holiday. The normal Thursday-Friday pickup schedule will resume the following week.

The Geneva City Council meeting, which takes place on Monday nights, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Both the Police and Fire Departments will be open on Labor Day. Normal City business hours resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.
