Following a water service replacement project last week, Geneva Public Works will be making an asphalt repair on South Street Oct. 26.

The street is closed to through traffic from Sixth to Seventh streets. The roadway is expected to be reopened in the afternoon.

South Street from Sixth to Seventh streets will be closed to through traffic for two days starting Thursday, Oct. 13 for a water service replacement project.

The Geneva Public Works Department will begin preparing the work site for construction Oct. 13 before the old water service is removed and replaced Friday, Oct. 14.

Motorists can use Fulton Street as an alternate route. For more information, call the Public Works Department Water Division at 630-232-1551.
