[ARCHIVED] Police Arrest Two In Prostitution Operation

Geneva Police arrested two women Jan. 10 as part of an investigation into prostitution activity at Hy Massage, 410 E. State St.

The investigation was initiated following community reports of illicit activity at the business.
 
Xunyi Fu, 45, of the 200 block of West 23rd Street, Chicago; and Zhixiang Zeng, 35, of the 200 block of West 26th Street, Chicago were taken into custody without incident.

Fu, the listed owner of Hy Massage, was charged with: 

  • One count of prostitution, a Class A misdemeanor; and
  • One count of operating as a massage therapist without a license, a Class A misdemeanor.

Zeng also was charged with one count of operating as a massage therapist without a license.

Fu and Zeng were transported to the Geneva Police Department for arrest processing and released with notice of an initial court appearance date on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Both women are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Geneva Police were assisted by investigators with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. The Geneva Police Department wishes to thank the public for reporting suspicious behavior and helping to keep the community safe.
