[ARCHIVED] Join Geneva Bike Bus To Concert In The Park

What better way to embrace the warm weather and long summer nights than an evening of biking, live music and community?

The Geneva Bike & Pedestrian Committee invites you to join your neighbors in pedaling to Geneva’s next Concert in the Park at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at River Park, 151 N. River Lane.

What's a bike bus? It's a fun, organized group ride that makes it easy and safe for folks of all ages to cycle to the event together. Geneva residents can choose from three routes, all of which will depart at 6:30 p.m. and arrive at River Park by 6:45 p.m.:

Williamsburg Route

  • Depart Williamsburg Elementary School, 1812 Williamsburg Ave.;
  • First pickup 6:35 p.m.: Geneva High School main entrance on Center Street and McKinley Avenue;
  • Second pickup 6:40 p.m. Wheeler Park/West Side Cemetery (Stevens Street and Wheeler Drive);
  • Map route

Western Avenue Route

  • Depart Western Avenue School, 1500 Western Ave.;
  • First pickup 6:35 p.m.: Softball field at Dryden Park, 603 Western Ave.;
  • Second pickup 6:40 p.m.: Geneva Public Library (main entrance), 227 S. Seventh St.;
  • Map route

East Side Route

  • Depart Moore Park, 877 Geneva Drive;
  • First pickup 6:35 p.m.: Bennett Park (gazebo), 328 N. Bennett St.;
  • Map route

The bike bus leaders will escort riders to the event only. Participants can head home at their leisure. Riders are encouraged to bring bike lights, locks and helmets.
