[ARCHIVED] Donation Efforts Established For Communities Impacted By April 9 Tornado

From the Village of Kirkland via www.villageofkirkland.com

Due to the overwhelming response of donations of goods, there are no more donations being accepted as we do not have any more space to house what’s been received. However, the Kirkland Fire Department is still accepting donations of gift cards. In addition, we are still accepting monetary donations through the link below.

Items Needed:

There are no household goods items needed, but please consider donating gift cards.

Monetary Donations

An Official Go Fund Me account has been established at Alpine Bank in Kirkland for anyone looking to make monetary donations. Please click the link below to donate to the Relief Fund. Alpine Bank has graciously offered to absorb all the administrative costs associated with the fund so that all the monies collected will be distributed to the families.

Alpine Bank will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Kirkland Food Pantry to help serve the victims of Thursday’s tornado in Fairdale. Between now, and Friday April 17 – please help us fill several boxes for these families. Boxes will be located at Alpine Bank Branches at E. State, Belvidere Downtown, Highcrest, and Kirkland. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
