The City of Geneva will be conducting transformer repairs next week that will necessitate a temporary power outage to 21 homes for a few hours.

The work will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, May 18 (8 homes) and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 20 (13 homes). The City’s Public Works Department sent letters to impacted residents this week to announce the service interruption.

In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen outages, the maintenance repairs will be rescheduled for the same time the following day. The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and will restore the power as quickly as possible.
