[ARCHIVED] Public Works Crews Addressing Areas Of Standing Water Following June 15 Storm

The Geneva Public Works Department will be working the next few days to clean up the aftermath of the June 15 storm, which dumped 3.1 inches of rain on Geneva.

All streets are open as of June 16, but there are areas of standing water throughout Geneva. Residents needing to report water or sewer issues, can call the Public Works Department at 630-232-1501 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As a reminder, people should call 911 to report flooding issues during severe storms when they occur during non-business hours. The emergency dispatcher will then contact the Public Works staff to address the situation.

Reporting issues through the City's online request tracker system or social media accounts is not recommended since they are not monitored 24 hours a day.
