Heading to Chicago for the Blackhawks' championship parade and rally Thursday, June 18? Metra will be providing additional train service to accommodate fans.

Metra anticipates extremely heavy passenger loading throughout the day. Passengers should expect delays up to 10 minutes on all trains and should plan accordingly.

The Geneva Police Department would like to remind anyone utilizing parking in downtown Geneva June 18 that all normal parking regulations are in effect and will be enforced. This includes timed parking, permit parking, and parking in the parking deck and overflow parking lot.

We expect that there will be much heavier than normal traffic due to those utilizing Metra to attend the Blackhawk's parade along with normal weekday commuters. Please travel and celebrate safely.
