Tune in, or set your DVR, as the WGN-TV Ch. 9’s Morning News comes to Geneva from 6 to 10 a.m. Friday, May 20.

Geneva was chosen to be featured after one of our residents entered a station contest to identify the “best block” in the Chicago area. Most of WGN’s Morning News personalities will be broadcasting the news live during a special block party. Several other pre-taped segments about what makes our City unique also will appear throughout the show.

The City is encouraging residents to watch the broadcast on television given a large crowd is expected on a residential street. The event is not sponsored by the City of Geneva and was coordinated by area residents and WGN-TV.
