A controlled burn has been scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 6 at Prairie Green Preserve located near Keslinger and Peck roads on Geneva's west side.

The City's contractor plans to start around 7 a.m. and will continue until finished or weather conditions warrant a stop. Controlled burns must take place when weather conditions, such as temperature, ground moisture and wind speeds are ideal.
