The Strategic Plan Advisory Committee (SPAC) is comprised of nine members who are appointed at large by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. The mayor makes such appointments, including vacancies, from a recommendation made by the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee. Each member of the committee shall be appointed for a three-year term.
SPAC meets the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers Conference Room, 109 James St. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, call Geneva City Hall at 630-232-7494 or visit our Agenda Center.
The purpose and intent of the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee are to preserve the life of the Strategic Plan document by prioritizing strategic communal goals, conveying them to City staff and elected officials, and where possible, assisting in their implementation.
In this way, citizens can help professional planners and public officials develop vision and goals, and see them realized. SPAC will study, monitor and continue to update the Strategic Plan, and at the same time, encourage citizen input and citizen-driven projects.
SPAC carries out its purpose and intent through the engagement of various sub-committees including:
Lisa Goodenough | David Monaco |
Dave Ellett | Billy Malecki |
Brad Considine | Winnie Frankel |
Melanie Mannon | Mia Kellen, Student Representative |
James Kafer | Ben McCready, City Staff Liaison |
