[ARCHIVED] Geneva Police Participating In AID Winter Needs Drive

Winter Clothing Needs Drive

The Geneva Police Department is looking to help those in need by participating in the Association for Individual Development's winter needs drive.

The community is invited to drop off used or new tents, tarps, blankets, hoodies/long sleeves, hats, gloves, scarves, winter jackets, hand warmers, food/gas gift cards, and monetary donations at the lobby of the Geneva Police Department, 20 Police Plaza. The last day to donate is Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Donations will be relayed to people participating in AID victim services, which provides 24-hour assistance to victims of violent crime or trauma.

Starting in 2020, the City has partnered with the Association for Individual Development (AID) to provide a part-time, on-site social worker at the Geneva Police Department.

Geneva residents who would like to make an appointment with Allison Bader, the City’s contracted AID social worker, can call the AID Crisis Line at 630-966-9393, send her an email, or call the Geneva Police Department at 630-232-4736.
