The Geneva Beautification Committee is looking for individuals, organizations, businesses, or groups willing to adopt an open garden this planting season.
The Beautification Committee's volunteers adopt and maintain planting beds and hanging baskets in Geneva’s Central Business District. These dedicated volunteers plant a wide range of flowers, two times per year to enhance the beauty of Geneva. They also clean, deadhead, weed, prune, and water their areas during the growing season.
For those who love getting dirty and watching the fruits of their labor turn into something beautiful, then you are the type of gardener the Beautification Committee is seeking. No experience is necessary. The committee has experienced gardeners who would love to have additional helping hands to join them.
Please consider joining the Beautification Committee, comprised of more than 150 volunteers, by emailing Kristie Dienst for more information.
