The City's 2024 sidewalk maintenance program is now scheduled to start Monday, Sept. 30, weather permitting.

The City's contractor will be removing the old sidewalk and curbs, setting forms, pouring concrete, and then smoothing out the new surface. Sidewalk sections and curbs scheduled for replacement have been marked with white paint and can be found on the City's project map.

Notices were delivered to adjacent households in mid-September, including those residents who will have to park their cars on the street given that their driveways will be impacted by construction. The notices do not have the most current schedule but still highlight important points about the upcoming project.

Work will continue into early October. After being poured, the new concrete will need several days to cure.
