July 17 Update
Pavement Striping
With road resurfacing completed on most streets, pavement striping started this week on Fargo Boulevard from Dunstan Road to Western Avenue. Work is underway on Lewis Road and will continue into next week. When pavement striping does occur, motorists can expect temporary lane closures for application and for the paint to dry.
James Street Parking Reconfiguration
Speaking of pavement striping, work is scheduled to occur Friday, July 18 on the new parking space configuration on the north side of James Street from First to Second streets. The parking space striping should take one day to complete.
Hamilton Street Parking Lot
Pavement removal is set to start Monday, July 21 on River Street, Hamilton Lane and the parking lot on the southwest corner of the intersection. Work will occur in one half of the parking lot and then shift over to the other side later in the week. After the pavement is removed, resurfacing crews will start immediately behind them. The City is targeting to have the project finished by the end of next week.
The City is expecting the entire 2025 Street Program to be wrapped up by mid-August. All schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors.
