James Street near Kaneville Road will be closed Monday, Sept. 15, as a construction contractor replaces residential water service infrastructure.

James Street will remain open to local traffic, but westbound motorists will not be able to turn onto Kaneville Road once construction begins at 1032 James St. Drivers on Kaneville Road also will not be permitted to turn onto eastbound James Street.

Signage will be posted on both streets alerting motorists of the project road closure, which is expected to be completed before the evening rush hour.
