The Geneva Chamber of Commerce announced the traditional 2020 Christmas Walk scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this year, the Chamber had previously determined Geneva's Holiday House Tour, originally scheduled for the first weekend in December, would not be able to be held due to limits on public gatherings as outlined in the "Restore Illinois" plan.

The City's Cultural Arts Commission also has canceled its 2020 Steeple Walk event originally scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 6.
