[ARCHIVED] Candidates File To Run For Geneva City Council Seats In 2021

Elections Ahead

Another election is on the horizon, but this time residents will be voting for local races including candidates running for the Geneva City Council.

The positions for mayor, city clerk, and treasurer along with one aldermanic seat in Wards 1, 3, 4, and 5 are open with each carrying a four-year term. The 2nd Ward has two seats up for election, with one running for two years and the other for four years.

A list of candidates running in the April 6 Consolidated Election can be found on the City's website.

Voters seeking to register or looking for more information can visit the Kane County Elections website.

As a reminder, campaign signs need to be placed on private property and not public parkways. If a sidewalk is present, place the sign between the sidewalk and building. If a sidewalk is not present, look for other markers such as utility poles or fire hydrants. More information can be found on the City's website.
