A section of northbound Route 25 in Geneva will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, Aug. 31 due to a sanitary sewer project.
ABC Plumbing will be installing replacement sanitary sewer service from the easterly right-of-way to the City's sanitary main along the center of Route 25 in between Spring and Chalmers streets. Work is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and will require both northbound lanes to be closed one at a time throughout the day. Southbound traffic is not expected to be impacted.
Construction is expected to be finished Aug. 31, weather permitting.
IDOT traffic control procedures will be in place. Motorists driving through the work zone are urged to use caution.
