[ARCHIVED] BASH Water Service Project Resumes On State Street

Road Work Ahead

Update - July 18

A block of eastbound State Street (Route 38) in downtown Geneva again will be reduced to one lane starting Wednesday, July 20 as a contractor resumes the installation of new water service for the future BASH (Burger and Sushi House) restaurant.

The outside lane and several parking spaces will be closed on State Street just west of Route 31. The project is anticipated to be completed by Friday, July 29, weather permitting. The traffic lane will be reopened temporarily over the July 23-24 weekend before being shut down again the week of July 25.

Earlier this month, the contractor had difficulty locating the storm and sanitary sewer on State Street which resulted in delays.
