[ARCHIVED] Candidates File To Run For City Council Seats In 2025

Elections Ahead

With another election on the horizon, 14 residents filed petitions to run for open seats on the Geneva City Council in 2025.

The positions for Mayor, City Clerk, City Treasurer, and one alderperson seat in each of the City's five wards are up for election, which will take place Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Each position carries a four-year term. A second seat in Ward 5, which carries a two-year term, also is open.

Candidates who filed petitions with the City from Nov. 12 to 18 include (in ballot order) include:

Geneva residents can find the newly adopted ward map (that will be in place for the election) on the City's website. Voters seeking to register or looking for more election information can visit the Kane County Clerk's website.
