“West Suburban Living” magazine readers once again ranked Geneva as the premier community for dining, shopping and festivals as part of its 2025 Best of the West survey.

Geneva was ranked has having the best downtown for shopping in the western suburbs and third place for "Best Mall/Shopping Center" with Geneva Commons. Geneva garnered second-place honors for the top city readers would most like to live (other than choosing their hometown).  

Numerous Geneva businesses were recognized in a variety of survey categories. Need plans for Sunday brunch? There are no shortage of options in our community after Buttermilk, The James, and Nosh swept the survey’s best Sunch brunch category.

Swedish Days was chosen "Best Festival" by readers while Festival of the Vine notched third place. The Geneva Arts Fair was ranked the “Best Craft or Art Show,” and the Geneva French Market earned second place for “Best Farmers Market.”
