The City's contractor, Geneva Construction, will be working on eight road resurfacing and drainage projects as part of the Geneva 2024 street program. Work began in mid-August and is expected to be completed in November, weather permitting. A map and project locations can be found online.
Sept. 23 Update
The City utility bill drop box at Fire Station No. 1 will be out of service temporarily due to the ongoing sidewalk replacement project on East Side Drive.
Construction crews are demolishing the west sidewalk and curbs from State (Route 38) to Division streets. Following demolition, new concrete will be poured and need several days to cure.
The utility bill drop box will be reopened once construction has been completed. Residents looking for alternate ways to pay their City utility bills in the meantime can reference our Finance Department FAQs.
All road construction is weather-permitting and subject to change.
