Garbage Rates
The Geneva City Council approved a five-year refuse contract with LRS starting in 2023. The rate years run from July 1 to June 30.
Garbage Carts
Residents who prefer a garbage cart can subscribe for any of the three sizes listed below for a monthly fee.

Recycling Carts
LRS will provide one free 65-gallon recycling cart to every residence serviced by the City's contract free of charge.
Additional recycling carts (optional) are available in 35, 65 and 95-gallon sizes for an additional monthly fee from LRS. The price is the same regardless of cart size.

Yard Waste Cart
Residents can dispose of yard waste by attaching a refuse sticker to a brown yard waste bag. LRS also offers an optional 65-gallon yard waste cart to residents for an annual seasonal fee that will be assessed each spring. Yard waste is collected from April through November.
