Tucked just off the path at 111 W. State St. in downtown Geneva, Wild Roots is a treasure waiting to be explored. For more than 25 years, owners Jim & Karen have curated a shop that radiates positive vibes the moment you step inside.
From artisan-made goods by local Geneva makers to boho bags, hippie shoulder bags, hemp purses, bohemian clothing, jewelry, eco-friendly gear, and fair-trade finds—this is your one-stop shop for anything unique, meaningful, and cool.
Many of their items are certified Fair Trade or sourced from suppliers who operate with Fair Trade values. Earth-friendly hemp, organic cotton, and recycled fabric items are always part of what they do—because style and sustainability go hand in hand.
And this weekend, Wild Roots is a proud supporter of the Fox Valley Folk Festival at Wheeler Park (Sunday and Monday, Aug. 31 - Sept. 1). For nearly 50 years, this festival has brought together incredible local, national, and international talent with six stages of live music, storytelling, workshops, a Kids' Zone, and even a barn dance under the stars.
Shop local, support fair trade, and don’t miss out on celebrating community, music, and handmade artistry with Wild Roots and the Fox Valley Folk Festival this Labor Day weekend!
