Posted on February 5, 2026 at 4:18 PM by Kevin Stahr

Geneva's public safety referendum will appear on the March 17 primary election ballot. After you do your research on the issue (open houses, Police Station Tours, website resources), do you have a plan to vote?

Early voting began Feb. 5 at the Kane County Clerk's Office in Geneva and the Clerk's Aurora satellite office. Additional early voting sites will open in the coming weeks, with locations and hours of operation published on the county's website.

Geneva residents can request a vote by mail ballot from the Kane County Clerk's Office, and, of course, can vote in person on election day. You can find full details on the City's voting information web page
